George’s company, Hanson Creative Arts Management, specializes in connecting artistic vision with a creative approach to fundraising.

“Great ideas attract strong funding,” says Hanson. “Developing an artistic vision, then finding the right support to realize that vision, and finally executing that vision at the highest artistic level – these are the three mutually supportive keys to a successful arts organization.”

Hanson Creative Arts clients include the Orquesta Filarmonica de Sonora and the Tucson Desert Song Festival; most recently, George worked with TDSF board members to attract over $500,000 in new funding to support the Festival’s celebration of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birthday – a 20 day, 30 event festival involving 15 ensembles, featuring Artist in Residence Jamie Bernstein.
